The additional bank holiday to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year falls in the May half term holiday on 3 June. However, the DfE have enabled all staff and students working in schools and settings to enjoy an additional bank holiday in term time to mark the celebration. We will be following Suffolk County Council’s recommendation that schools take a co-ordinated approach and take Friday 18th February 2022 as the additional bank holiday.
